Planes
If you are flying into New England, we recommend the following airports. Both are lovely, and we are equidistant from both:
- Bradley International Airport (1 hour away)
- TF Green Airport (1 hour away)
You can also use the following airports in Boston and New York if you’re in a pinch:
- Boston Logan International Airport (2.5 hours away)
- John F Kennedy International Airport (3 hours away)
- LaGuardia Airport (3 hours away)
- Newark Liberty International Airport (3 hours away)
If you are flying in, we recommend that you rent a car from the airport. You can also take a train, but note that there is no train from Bradley (Hartford) to the Old Saybrook station.
Trains
If you don’t want to rent a car, you can take the train to Connecticut via Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor. The closest stop is Old Saybrook, but not all trains stop there. You may need to take a train to New London or New Haven, but no matter where you stop you’ll need to take an Uber or Lyft or taxi to your accommodations.
Automobiles
If you are flying in, we recommend you rent a car from the airport. If you are taking a train as outlined above, we recommend Uber or Lyft or taxi.
If you are driving, note that we’ll have free valet parking at the Bee & Thistle the day of the ceremony.
